Live LinQ are the future of Urban Music, having a very strong fan base across the UK and worldwide. Independently distributing over 6,000 Promo Mix CD's Nationwide monthly has definitely seen their hard work start to pay off.

They were brought up listening to music from different genres such as Rare Grooves, Ragga, Soul, Dance, Calypso and Lovers Rock. In 1989, their parents bought them their first record player. It was only a one deck all in one radio and tape player. They used to try and scratch the record with their hands, elbows and even their feet for fun.

In 1996 they started taking their music interest seriously, playing at house parties and birthday parties free of charge, together with their friends, in their local area of West London (where they were born and raised). Due to their versatile music style, ranging over: Bashment, R&B, Hip Hop, Soca, Garage and Slow Jams. With this and their natural ability to entertain a crowd, Live Linq became very unique and successful, surpassing other sounds/DJ’s. Their growing audience of under twenty-one year olds resulted in them getting more bookings in and around West London.

Live Linq’s first broadcast on air was on a pirate radio station called Cruise Fm in 1999. They played on a weekly rotation show called the 'youth rotation' slot where four youth sounds would take it in turns doing a show on the station. This led to them getting their own show on the station. When the station stopped broadcasting, Live Linq performed many guest appearances on pirate radio stations. They later joined another station called Juice Fm where they had one of the hottest shows on the station.

They were on this station for two and a half years before joining Choice FM. Live Linq now perform regularly in top UK Night clubs such as Sounds, Liquid, Po Na Na, University's such as Leicester, Brighton, Hertfordshire, Essex, Bristol, and Kent to name a few. They also perform overseas in Canada, New York, Ayia Napa, and Grenada (Caribbean) with the ambition to make themselves a recognized international name. They hold a Residency Every Thursdays at Bar FM and Fridays at Cameo’s, Central London West End.

Live Linq can be heard every Wednesday on Choice FM from 9pm-11pm which they have been with since February 2005. Live LinQ have Interviewed ,presented and hosted longside for Top Artist's such as , Bobby V, Ginuwine, Beenie Man, and Sanchez to name just a few. Live Linq have always felt that if you want something in life you have to work hard for it, especially in the music industry which they believe is a very hard industry to be successful in.

They feel that that their success so far has come from being independent and managing themselves. This includes having to do their own: Mix CD's, Hosting there own Raves, Website, Bookings and Promotional work.
